Description

Park Sharon’s 8U Transitional team will be holding Tryouts Saturday, February 8th at 1 PM on Field 3.

The 8U team is coming off of a very successful Fall season having won four Nations Tournaments and Runner-up in its fifth tournament, posting a 16-1 record. Travis Thompson will again coach the 8U team, but in a new format for Park Sharon. This will be a 8U “Transitional team” that will practice as a kid pitch team and enter both 8U Elite Machine Pitch tournaments and 9U Tournaments. This team will also host several PSAA Invitationals inviting other Elite 8U teams to play in the 9U baseball format/rules. PSAA believes this will bring notoriety to PSAA Baseball by offering a unique program to the area as well as show-off our beautiful facilities while bringing in funds for our capital improvements fund.
The 8U Team will hold its Tryout at Quail Hollow Middle School (Field 2) at 1 PM on Saturday, February 8th.

Baseball League Age: League-age is determined by age on April 30, 2014

• 8U: Born 5/1/2005 - 4/30/2006

Please Register for Baseball prior to the Evaluations at www.parksharonsports.com.

PSAA will also be offering the traditional 8U Select Machine Pitch format with an evaluation to be held in late February.
