Scholarships

Park Sharon Athletic Association does not want any child to miss playing due to financial hardship. Use this confidential form to explain your circumstances and the amount of help needed. Payment plans, partial scholarships, or full scholarships are available based upon need. Questions regarding the scholarship application process may be addressed to the Scholarship Committee at scholarship@parksharonsports.com.

Scholarship applications must be received by:

Season Registration Begins Due Date
(No Exceptions)
Spring Jan. 1st Feb. 15th (Babe Ruth is April 8)
Fall July 1st Aug. 15
Winter Oct. 1st Oct. 15th

**Please note that applications are reviewed AFTER the deadlines stated above and you will not be contacted until AFTER this date regarding the status of your application. Please allow 10 days after the deadline for us to contact you regarding your application status.

Below is a high-level recap of the scholarship guidelines that may be viewed in full by accessing the link above:

  • Scholarship applicants are required to pay the $50 annual Park Sharon family membership fee. This fee is assessed every spring or in the first season the family registers for sports during the calendar year.

     

  • Scholarships cover only sports registration fees and may be offered in the form of full scholarship, partial scholarship, or payment plan. Scholarships will not be granted for fees already paid, nor for any previously unpaid balances.

 

  • Scholarship applications (both pages) and supporting documentation (recent paystub, W-2 forms, etc.) should accompany registration forms and may be submitted at walk-up registration (see dates on website) or via email or post mail. 

 

  • Online registration does not support scholarship requests.
