10U Softball (9 & 10 year olds)

Confidence, Competition, and Continued Growth

The 10U division is where the game really starts to take shape! Designed for girls ages 9–10, this level introduces more advanced rules and faster-paced play—while continuing to build strong fundamentals, teamwork, and a love for the game.

Players are challenged to grow their skills in a supportive environment that encourages both individual development and team success.
 

What’s New in 10U:

• Full Player Pitch: Girls pitch every inning, gaining valuable experience and confidence on the mound.
• Stealing Introduced: Players can steal bases after the ball crosses the plate, adding excitement and strategy to every play.
• Game Awareness: Players begin learning more complex game situations, including defensive positioning, base coverage, and smart base running.
• Skill Refinement: Continued focus on throwing accuracy, hitting mechanics, fielding consistency, and communication on the field.

Required Equipment:

• Softball Glove
• Batting helmet with a faceshield
• Fielders facemask
• Softball pants (your coach will be in contact to let you know what color pants to purchase)
•  Cleats
• Softball bat (must be a fastpitch softball bat with an ASA stamp)
