Where Fundamentals Meet Friendly Competition

The Minors Softball (grades 2 & 3) division is an exciting next step in your player’s softball journey! Designed for girls in 2nd & 3rd grade, this level introduces more advanced skills and game play while continuing to emphasize development, teamwork, and fun.  

At this stage, players begin to experience the thrill of real game dynamics—including kid-pitching, strikeouts, and strategic plays—all in a supportive, learning-focused environment.

What to Expect in Minors Fast Pitch Softball

• Player Pitching: Girls pitch every inning, helping them build confidence and control on the mound.
• Coach Support: If a pitcher throws 4 balls to a batter, a coach steps in to deliver up to 3 additional pitches—keeping the game moving and the learning going.
• Strikeouts Introduced: Batters can now strike out, teaching focus, resilience, and the importance of every at-bat.
• Skill Development: Continued focus on throwing mechanics, fielding fundamentals, base running, and situational awareness.
• Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Players learn to support each other, communicate on the field, and grow as teammates.

• Jersey
• Socks
• Field time (team practices & games)
• Umpire fees

Required Equipment:

• Softball Glove
• Batting helmet with a faceshield
• Fielders facemask
• Softball pants (your coach will be in contact to let you know what color pants to purchase)
• Cleats
• Softball bat (must be a fastpitch softball bat with an ASA stamp)
