Where the softball journey begins!
Our 5 and 6-year-olds take their first steps on their softball journey in our Rookie Coach Pitch program- a fun, family oriented introduction to the game, where friendships are formed and fundamentals take root.
At this level, the focus is on learning through play. Players begin developing essential skills like hitting, throwing, catching and fielding in a supportive, low-pressure (high fun) environment. It’s all about building confidence, coordination and a love for the game.
Because we believe that early development is about skills, and not the ball, our Rookie Coach Pitch teams may include both softball and baseball players. This blended approach allows all young athletes to grow together while learning the same core fundamentals.
Whenever possible, we’ll keep girls together on the same team to help them build lasting friendships and team chemistry as they move up through the program. If needed, teams may be co-ed to ensure everyone gets to play—and we’re always happy to accommodate friend requests when forming rosters.
